At Balina we make jewellery that works with real life.

Based in Melbourne, we've been quietly creating pieces for your everyday moments since 2025 (We're new!). Our small studio sits in Bayside Melbourne, where we spend our days sketching ideas and putting together collections that feel natural to wear.

We focus on pieces you'll reach for most days. Each design begins with a simple idea – perhaps it's the way light catches a curve, or how something feels when you put it on. We work with high quality sterling silver and 18k gold plating, trying to keep things honest and not too complicated.

Our process is pretty straightforward. We design everything here in Melbourne, working with local suppliers when we can. We think about quality, but also about making pieces that can go from your morning coffee to dinner out without feeling out of place.

Our Approach

We think good jewellery doesn't need to shout. It should feel like it belongs with you, whether you're grabbing coffee on a Tuesday morning or heading somewhere special on the weekend.

We're not trying to reinvent anything – we're just making jewellery the way we hope it should be made. Simple enough for everyday, nice enough for when you want to feel a bit more put together.

Why We Started

Melbourne has this nice way of mixing the polished with the laid-back. We wanted to make jewellery that could do the same thing – pieces that work whether you're in jeans and sneakers or something a bit dressier.

We hope every piece we make reflects this city and the way people here actually live and get dressed.
